When we went on camp.

This is a poem that I write yesterday, when we went to camp 2 weeks since we have came back from camp

My favourite part was when we went down the
 sand dunes and my second favourite part was meeting Tane Mahuta.

We have been working on our features and we have just accomplished them I was away so I didn't get to paint mine so my friend did it for me. I was so pleased. The colours on my feature sea creature is light green and dark green and the eyes are white and black and last but not least the bubbles that the turtle blow out is blue and green circles. 

I really enjoyed my feature sea creature, my favourite part is when we got to create the sea creature.

The Wonderful Clay Art

This is my wonderful clay art with my teacher Mrs Meyers we have been working on this really cool art I have just finished last week Friday and I'm so pleased. I have drawled a turtle onto a piece of paper and when we were finished the next day we started with our clay and....

First-we had to make the  back ground we had to press the back ground for the body shape  to be put on. You had to make sure that it was thick for the object that you were doing  like me I had to make a body shape for my turtle we made it on a silver plate but sometimes I had to restart because the teacher didn't really like what I made at first It was a bowl of flowers that I made.

Secondly-Then we had to do the body shape of my turtle shape first I had to do the head of my turtle I had to roll a ball up and the press it into a oval then I did the legs I had to shape them like ballerina arms second I made the body part first I rolled up a big ball then pressed it down like a flat as circle.

Lastly-I made some patterns on the body and the arms then I garbed a straw so I could poke 2 eyes in the head also I put a hole up at the top of the background so when you are finished you hang it up some where.

My big conclusion- I really liked doing my art with Mrs Meyers and I can not wait to do this next time.

Hello my name is Mihi-Rangi I am 10 years old and I go to Ahipara school I love fitness when I won't to. I love playing football with my friends [soccer]. I was born December  I really enjoy going to Ahipara school. My favourite colours are red,blue,white and black.

The space project.

For the past few weeks we have been working on our space planets it was hard but I got through it and now it is up on the wall.

The order was hard to do because you don't know what goes with what.

We made the space planets with paper we used the oil pastels  to colour  the paper planets in.

My planets names are green grass,lava lover,Russell,clay university,blue giant,big crunch and last but not least the sun Ra.

Green grass has orange,green and blue colours, lava lover has pink and red colours on it,Russell has fully yellow on it,clay university  has green and yellow on it, blue giant has pink and blue on it and last big crunch has red and yellow on it.
